Hillside Rural Activities Park (HRAP) is situated close to the A19 in North Yorkshire between the villages of Borrowby and Knayton near Thirsk. The 28 acre site was purchased with the help of grants and legacies and includes an area owned by the Hillside Scout Group.  Full details of donors included in sponsors section.  HRAP is a registered charity (1110968) The facility is a permanent home for Hillside Scouts, Knayton Football Club, AFC Hillside, Leake Cricket, Leake Tennis and Borrowby Show. A well equipped children's play area and outdoor gym are popular at the park. Construction is well underway (Spring 2012) for a combined scout hall/toilets/changing rooms/showers etc.

The park is open to the public for the benefit of the local community.

The park can be hired for a variety of events, competitions and social functions. Please  contact us  to enquire further.

NEWS
  The first phase of the HRAP changing rooms/ Scout Hall is completed and the facilities are being used.  Paving and paths will be progressing throughout the summer as funding has been received.

FORTHCOMING EVENTS:-

WILLOWMAN FESTIVAL - the poular music festival returns to HRAP this year 20/23 June and we hope locals and regular fans attend (further details can be found on the website) .

BORROWBY SHOW falls on Wednesday 31 July 2013.  The Show will host all the usual events but please note - NO BORROWBY SHOW DANCE THIS YEAR.
